No, they don't. When you stop playing, time stops. Your friend might have been referring to the MP mod where time on their servers never stops. Your friend might have been referring to the MP mod where time on their servers never stops. Yup, which is what breaks the economy in multiplayer mod, hire a bunch of drivers and leave the game for a
Even skilled drivers can make about 5k-10k each per day sometimes less or more. You need more than a couple drivers to start making decent money out of them. I would say aim to have 11 drivers (3 small garages + 2 drivers on the initial garage) and then go with the flow of earnings to plan for more garages and drivers.
ETS2: Training employees Euro Truck 2 Guide. ETS2: Training employees. Train your drivers using driver manager. Select one and check the " training " option. Better do not choose the " balanced " one. First of all a driver needs the "long distance" skill which unlocks further options (at least two, three levels). Then you should train two skills.
So in the end it is 10%+X chance of an empty return, where X depends on trailer (s) available and current hired driver location. It will be never below 10% or at least that is what comes from empirical observations so far. Giving more trailers won't do better as they pick up one randomly, they don't choose anything.

Nono54Fr Jul 28, 2016 @ 2:27am. 1. Why would you need more than 227 drivers ? You're already earning a few millions per week, more than you could spend. 2. These mods do not work. You have more choice but still can't hire more than 227 drivers. #1. Hyperion Jul 28, 2016 @ 4:03am.
Those drivers will hardly make any money untill they level up a bit, loosing you money. Take it step by step and you will make more money then you can spend. I get that i have too many loans and that i've lost a lot of money just by not being smart financially but i still don't see how that explans why i get paid 4000 pounds for a job while
I'm quite sure I've been on roads where a lot of the drivers are on multiple times (I've made multiple journeys using the Channel Tunnel for example and a lot of the drivers seem to also do that regularly too) yet I've not actually seen them on the roads, my only indications that they are driving are the Truck, Trailer and Driver Managers.
